"The Olearia Story Old and New"

Ch.Fantasa White Gold  (Lucy) 27 C.C's

The Olearia Kennel began 22 yrs ago with an Adoram Bitch and a Panevors dog. Both worked well in Obedience but were not suitable for showing. Chesara Dark Francesca was the kennels first show bitch and produced a beautiful litter to Ch. Poirot Led Zeplin. Two puppies from this litter gained stud book numbers. The first one, Elkesley's Blitz and Pieces J.W., owned by Jean Roberts, also became a registered P.A.T. dog. The second one, Olearia's Harvey's Mean Machine J.W. gained 2 C.C's and sired Ch. Rottsan Soldier Blue at Olearia J.W.

The Olearia kennels has since produced Champions: Olearia Salina and Olearia Shooting Star J.W. and several other ticket and reserve winners to include: Olearia Force Ten 2C.C.'s, Olearia Blaze of Glory 2C.C's, Olearia Moon  Walker, Olearia Burning Desire of Tymestl, Olearia New Moon, Olearia Oneida of Tymestl.

Olearia is the proud owner of Ch.Fantasa White Gold, Lucy, who was the bitch C.C. record holder for many years with 27 C.C.'s and also Ch.Vormund Walk on Water our first Akita.

During the last year Kane has been entered in 19 Championship Shows and to our delight he has gained numerous firsts including Crufts 2006. He has also achieved a Reserve best in Show at Derby C.S.
Hopefully he will maintain this consistency throughout his show career, and a big thank you to all the judges who have thought so highly of him.

On the 17th June 06 Kane became the proud father to a beautiful litter of 7 Dogs and 5 Bitches, mum, Olearia Glory Be H:S 3:3
