ASHCLYST is a small kennel based in Exeter, Devon where I work as a Canine Behaviourist and Trainer. I have  been involved in dogs since the 1970s,  firstly with GSD's and since the late 1980's with Rottweilers. (previously of the Rottkernow affix). Robynne, Tara (and Callum until he died tragically and very suddenly of a splenetic tumour in March 2009) all perform a vital role in my behavioural work as well as their occasional ventures into the showring
I am located in a small village between Exeter and Taunton, about an hour from Bristol. I have been involved in dogs since the mid 70's, first of all with GSD's and then from 1988 with Rottweilers. (Formerly of the ROTTKERNOW affix)
I have had some success in the show-ring, winning multiple firsts and 2 reservce cc's with my first show dogs -  TANGHARA SILVER GHOST AT ROTTKERNOW (ANGUS) and TANGHARA SILVER STAR AT ROTTKERNOW (JODY),   in the early 90's, as well as campaigning/breeding 3 others to their Stud book number. Also campaigning Swedish Vallhund Ch. Svedala Tomte Pelle to his title, including best of breed at Crufts 1993, plus some success in the champ show ring with GSD's.
 After a break from showing activities, I now have three young Rottweilers who are currently doing well in the show-ring (plus one feisty Parson Russell Terrier)!

 All my dogs are of excellent temperament/character and are hip-scored.
